1. Introduction

This document is to inform you about how we process personal data on our website www.krudumskechalupy.cz (hereinafter referred to as the "website") in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR). This policy applies to visitors to the website and those interested in short-term rentals of our holiday properties.

We only process personal data that you provide to us via web form, email or telephone for the following purposes:

  • reservation and conclusion of a short-term rental contract,
  • handling your questions or inquiries,
  • compliance with legal obligations (e.g. registration of accommodated persons according to Act No. 326/1999 Coll. and the Act on Local Fees),
  • protecting legitimate interests (e.g. resolving any complaints, recovering debts).

 

The data processed usually includes:

  • name and surname,
  • e-mail address,
  • phone number,
  • address of permanent residence (in the case of accommodation records),
  • nationality (if required by law),
  • information about the reservation (date, number of persons, selected object),
  • or payment details.

4. How long we keep the data

We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, namely:

  • booking data: for the duration of the contractual relationship and 5 years after its termination,
  • Accounting and tax documents: 10 years from the date of issue,
  • records of accommodated persons: according to the legislation in force, no longer than 6 years.
  • Emails and enquiries without a completed contract: max. 6 months

5. To whom the data may be disclosed

As a matter of principle, we do not pass on your data to third parties, except:

  • IT and web hosting providers who operate our systems,
  • accountants or tax advisers to comply with legal obligations,
  • public authorities, if we are required to do so by law (e.g. the Police of the Czech Republic, municipal authorities in connection with the residence fee).

All processors are contractually bound by confidentiality and data protection guarantees.

6. Use of cookies

We only use the necessary technical cookies on our website for the proper functioning of the website (e.g. to maintain language choices or form functionality). No analytical or marketing cookies are used without your consent.

We protect your data using technical and organisational measures in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR. Only authorised persons have access to your data and only to the extent necessary.
